In 1999, before getting into the entertainment business, owner Tim
Breckheimer married his lovely bride, Lorrie. Although they were
planning a small reception, they wanted to have a DJ so their guests
could dance and have a good time. Thinking that all DJs were the same,
Tim hired the most reasonably priced one that he could find. Tim and
Lorrie gave this DJ/Owner information about what they wanted and didn’t
want for their reception. They believed this DJ/Owner would personally
be the DJ at their reception. The day of the wedding arrived, and
without any warning, a complete stranger showed up to DJ this very
personal and important event!
This "DJ"/stranger started by playing the wrong version of their First Dance song. At that point it was forgivable because anyone can make a mistake, right? However, as the evening progressed, the DJ played songs that were on Tim & Lorrie's "do NOT play" list. Needless to say, Tim was not happy. He thought, "Why would a DJ book a wedding and then send someone else, who didn't know what we wanted, to our reception?" Little did Tim know, he would not only find the answer to that question, but he would discover his passion, too.
In 2003 Tim created his own entertainment business, vowing his company would be different. He researched, studied, purchased every instructional DVD he could get his hands on and attended DJ Conventions to learn from the best DJs in the country. Then he practiced his craft, first honing his skills at local establishments and smaller events, followed soon by larger corporate affairs and elaborate wedding ceremonies and receptions.
Currently Tim and his wife, Lorrie, enjoy working together to make each event a resounding success.
